registration for the 2024-25 school year 

9^th grade registration - Students currently in 8^th grade

Deans will be at the middle school on Tuesday, February 6th to share information with 8th grade students and help students fill out their registration sheets. Deans will collect sheets from students on this day and families will have a chance to review them on February 7th. 

8th Grade Family Engagement and Registration Night
Wednesday, February 7th, 6:00PM, High School Auditorium

If you are a parent/guardian of a current 8th grade student and are unable to attend the family night on February 7th, please contact a high school dean if you have questions about the registration process and/or class offerings at the high school. 

Deans will return to Fridley Middle School on Tuesday, February 12th, to meet with any students who were absent on February 6th. 

Families are encouraged to have conversations with students about the classes they want to take at the high school.

Thursday, January 4th

• Interest Inventory for students in grades 9, 10, 11 during advisory - this inventory helps students align courses with their interests and post-secondary goals

Wednesday, January 10th - Advisory Schedule

• General registration information presented to students in grades 9, 10, 11 during advisory

Tuesday, January 16th 

• Deans will visit classrooms with grade-level specific information about registration
  • 9th grade → US History
  • 10th grade → Chemistry
  • 11th grade → Lang & Lit 11
• Students will receive registration forms during these classroom visits

Wednesday, January 17th

• Students will work on completing their registration forms during advisory
• Registration Fair during One Lunch - more details to come
• Academic deans will be available during One Lunch to answer questions and help students
• Deans will visit EL Literacy classes to help with registration

Thursday, January 18th 

• Students will work on completing their registration forms during advisory
• Academic deans will be available during One Lunch to answer questions and help students
• Students can submit completed and correct registration sheets to their advisor

Friday, January 19th

• No advisory this day - Lunch & Learn
• Academic deans will be available during One Lunch to answer questions and help students

Monday, January 22nd

• Final day to submit registration sheets
