Welcome to Fridley High School, an International Baccalaureate World School! We are proud to offer a comprehensive curriculum in a caring environment. We offer a large selection of courses appealing to a wide variety of interests. Electives provide the opportunity to explore special fields of interest. These courses also make it possible to pursue specialized preparation for advanced post-high school training or entrance into the job market.

Incoming 9th Grade Registration Information:

  • February 2nd: Get Ready Career Pathways Presentation
    8th grade students will be given information on the career pathways that are offered at Fridley High School. These pathways include the Fridley High School classes that will prepare students for careers in business management, human services, health sciences, technology, engineering, manufacturing, arts, and communication.
     
  • February 4th: Registration Conferences: 6:30-7:30pm  
    8th Grade Parent Registration Presentation - families of 8th graders are invited to log in to a Google Meet and join the FHS Academic Deans to learn about how 8th grade students will register for their 9th grade year as well as about course requirements and other opportunities at Fridley High School. Log into the Google Meet with THIS LINK.
     
  • February 9th:
    FHS Deans will be virtually visiting FMS Hybrid classrooms to help them learn more about FHS, the course offerings and to help them register. Click HERE for the Google Registration Form (will go live when registration begins).
     
  • February 10th:
    FHS Deans will be virtually visiting Fridley Online Academy/Edgenuity students to help them learn more about FHS, the course offerings and to help them register. Click HERE for the Google Registration Form (will go live when registration begins).
  • February 12th: Last day to complete and submit registration form 


10th Grade Registration Information:

  • February 3rd: REGISTRATION FOR FRIDLEY ONLINE ACADEMY
    (Students using Edgenuity as their learning platform):

    Students will join the FHS Academic Deans on February 3rd at 12pm to learn more about course offerings, receive their registration form and have the opportunity to work with a Dean on registration.  Attendance is required.  Students will receive the link to meet with the Academic Dean from their mentor.  Presentation and registration is expected to take approximately one hour. 
     
  • February 4th: Registration Conferences - 4:00-7:30pm
    Conferences will consist of Google Meets and phone calls with staff members to discuss new classes for the semester, to get answers about possible classes within the department for registration for next year, and to clarify questions about the first semester.
    • 4:30-4:45pm Parent/Student Presentation: Expectations for Semester 2 in the Online Academy (Edgenuity courses) followed by Q/A.
    • 5:00-6:00pm High School Parents Registration information - families of current 9th-11th grade students are invited to log in to a Google Meet and join the Academic Deans to learn about how their HS student will register for classes in the coming year as well as about course requirements and other opportunities at Fridley High School. Log into the Google Meet with THIS LINK.
    • 6:00-6:15pm Parent/Student Presentation: Expectations for Semester 2 in the Online Academy (Edgenuity courses) followed by Q/A (repeat of 4:30 presentation).
       
  • February 5th: FHS Virtual Registration Fair
    Learn more about the courses offered at FHS and talk to your advisor about courses for next year.
     
  • During the week of February 8th, FHS Deans will be virtually visiting classrooms to help them learn more about FHS, the course offerings and to help them register. Click HERE for the Google Registration Form (will go live when registration begins).
     
  • February 10th: Google Meet Registration Open Q & A with the Academic Deans - Students will join the Google Meet in your grade-level Google Classroom 
     
  • February 12th: Last day to complete and submit registration form 

     

11th Grade Registration Information:

  • February 3rd: PSEO 2021-2022 informative meeting - This meeting will be held via Google Meet (meet.google.com/amf-grdm-itg) on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. If students are interested in learning more about PSEO, they must attend this meeting. It is required. If you cannot attend, please reach out to your academic dean.   • February 3rd: IB DP informative meeting - Students interested in learning more about earning an International Baccalaureate Diploma (or “Full DP”) can attend an informational meeting via Google Meet (https://meet.google.com/pxg-tcsu-esc) on Wednesday, February 3 from 2:00-3:00 pm. Contact IB Coordinator Jessica Baker for more information if you are unable to attend at this time at jbaker@isd14.org.
